Dear guildies,

This is a brilliant video all. I'm riveted by it. What do you all think.

I want the account bound lucky star achievement. I'm Special!!!!

LFR is probably too easy right now, but without it I would not have been in a raid for the first 8 months of MOP. They just need to adjust the balance a bit.

Interesting food for thought. What does this make you, as leaders of Civility, want to see our membership do to address the issue?

Would you like to see members offering constructive advice to others? Within the guild and without?

Would you recommend voting to kick non-performing heroic or LFR players?

Or, would you suggest that Civility members strive for excellence in learning and gearing their own toons?

Certianly makes you think about the motivation of the millions of people who play WoW. I found quite thought provoking the suggestion that because no one took the time to correct or advise the rogue on his "technique" he would have no idea that he was playing poorly. Of course, the video creator was playing poorly on purpose, but he suggests that many people who play poorly never realize that they could substantially improve because no one ever advised or corrected them.

I do think that this same situation is not on all servers. Nordrassil has more than its share of vocal players who will kick you from a group or criticize your play. I think that the opposite is often true on our server - people trying to learn and improve can be chased away from aspects of the game (or from all of WoW) by the unkind comments of others.

Lots to think about as we progress as a guild in raiding.

Heyo Neeli & Syl,

Yep who wouldn't want the "Lucky Star" account bound achievement! And yes, I hear you Neeli about that whole LFR debate: without it, most of us would probably not have seen raids for that length of time.

And Syl, excellent queries and observations thus far. That does require some thought and discussion with Thel before I/we reply. Thank you so much for that very thoughtful and thought provoking comment to this thread, Syl. Stand by for our thoughts coming soon-ish. (Sorry summer is crazy time lol)

Cheers :D
